Jostein Venås (b.1994) is a filmmaker from Hemsedal. He has a BFA from Nordland College
of Arts and film, and a MFA from The Norwegian Film School. His work shows a strong
connection to his upbringing on the countryside, and he investigates tradition, handcraft
and belonging.
