This panel will explore the opportunities for cross-border collaboration in Indigenous media co-productions and educational initiatives in the Arctic. Experts from Telefilm Canada, York University, International Sámi Film Institute and University of Lapland will discuss how partnerships between Indigenous communities and international stakeholders can amplify Indigenous voices, preserve traditional knowledge, and create sustainable opportunities. The discussion will also include the exciting announcement of Indigenous Film Master Program by the UArctic, aimed at the next generation of Indigenous filmmakers.
