In the small Sámi town of Kautokeino, Garen is at the bottom of the social ladder. When her son is to marry into a wealthy reindeer-herding family, Garen sees a chance to lift her status by arranging the perfect wedding. Garen must recruit her siblings: the gay artist Henry who hates everything Sámi, the outspoken addict Belle and the village fuckboy Johan.
