The film paints a dystopia of how Sápmi will breathe in the future in the middle of the political pressures connected with energy and minerals. This surreal video work focuses on the immense power of water and humanity’s dependence on it, drawing on the work of the Sámi poet Pedar Jalvi. An adapted version of the film that was part of the Árran Programme at the 2021 Venice Biennale.
