In an Aymaran community in the Peruvian Andes, a family gathers to celebrate the ritual of “uywa ch´uwa”, an ancient custom that consists of evoking ritual acts to the ”Pakucha” (the alpaca’s soul). During the festival, the family journeys through the world-view of Aymaran culture, stepping into a universe filled with mysticism in which new life is created.
