For generations, sexual abuse has been a taboo among indigenous peoples. This has led to suicides and problems in mental health in the Sámi community too. Victims have resorted to silence as a way of coping, but the young women Marion and Ida feel that keeping silent benefits no-one. It is time to make the problem visible by speaking up.
