Aotearoa, 1963. A year after her mother’s death, the eight-year-old Hine and her father still grieve. When the house has no longer water supply, the father turns his car into a water pump while Hine becomes a force of nature that blows away her father’s sorrow for good. The film has been inspired by an ancient Māori story of the wind and the power of a child’s love.
