Following eight main characters, Indigenous peoples travel through a thousand years, from the past via the present to the future. The journey is filled with stories of kin, losses, sorrow and resilience, but finally also of the power of love and hope with which the Indigenous peoples of Australia, New Zealand and the Southern Pacific have met their common traumas.
