Åse Kathrin Vuolab is the series creator, director and lead writer of A Sámi Wedding (2025). She started her career intelevision at NRK Sápmi, which produces content for the indigenous Sámi population ofNorway. At NRK Sápmi, ÅseKathrin worked in several different capacities as a writer, director, actor and editor, creating both fiction and non-fictionproductions. She studied screenwriting at the Norwegian National Film School in Lillehammer and A Sámi Wedding isher debut drama series.
