Apolo Bautista is an award-winning Quechua Director, Producer, and Cinematographer from Ayacucho, Peru. He is the founder of Ciaorose, a production house that promotes the revitalization of Andean culture through visual media. Through CiaoroseLab, he aims to decentralize film education in Peru. Bautista challenges social, cultural, and environmental narratives in his work and incorporates Andean values such as Ayllu, Ayni, and Yanatin.
