Finnish premiere
An activist movement opposes the Norwegian government’s plan to use Repparfjord as a dumping ground for mining waste. The story echoes the historic 1981 protests against the construction of a hydroelectric power plant on the Koutokeino-Alta river. Both rivers were and still are important spawning ground for cod and salmon, and an important resource for Sámi reindeer husbandry and sea fishing.
